NeNe Leakes is basking in the glow of her recent casting on the hit ABC dancing competition series, Dancing With The Stars. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy for the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, and in a new interview, she's calling out two of her co-stars.
“Phaedra texted me and said, ‘Congrats,’ and Porsche called me and Cynthia and I talked it about before I was on. So she was supportive,” NeNe explained during a March 6 interview on Access Hollywood, adding that “the rest of them,” meaning Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss, have failed to congratulate her.
“They don’t want me to be the queen bee, honey, but you have to call it like it is!” she said.
For the most part, the entire Bravo family was thrilled to see NeNe join the cast and give dancing a try. Even The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump, who starred on the series' last installment, reached out, as did Kim Zolciak, of Don't Be Tardy.
According to NeNe, she's completely confident in her upcoming appearance and has already been dancing a lot in the last few days.
Fans will see NeNe's first dance when Dancing With The Stars premieres on March 17 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
