NeNe Leakes was elegant and excited while attending the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night.
Leakes shared her big moment on the red carpet with fans online, stating that her dress was designed by noted fashion designer Carolina Herrera. She also enjoyed the Golden Globe Award after party with a number of the night's guests and honorees.
"I'm on the red carpet. My eyes were watering on the red carpet with excitement & forgot I had on fake eye lashes. Oh lawd," Leakes joked.
Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the Golden Globes honored talent including Adele, Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway and Quentin Tarantino for their contributions to film, music and television.
Kerry Washington, Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez were also in attendance.
In related news, NeNe Leakes was featured on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Sunday. There she shared her moving experience, moving from Atlanta to Los Angeles to work on projects such as "Glee" and recent People's Choice Award winning series "The New Normal."
