Could "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" be losing its last remaining original housewife? Possibly. As reported by OK! Magazine on Tuesday, April 29, NeNe Leakes told reporters after her exit from "Dancing With The Stars" that she's hesitant about returning for another season of "Real Housewives" because it has changed so much from when she first joined.
NeNe admitted that "there’s a lot of hesitation" about being an Atlanta housewife for another season. She explained that she felt that the show was much more positive in the beginning, with people tuning in to watch "fashion and fabulousness and never pulling hair or belittling or being super negative." Unfortunately, the show has changed so much that NeNe can't even recognize it anymore.
Obviously, NeNe thinks that the addition of Kenya Moore is one of the causes of the show's downward spiral into negativity and violence. In the aftermath of Porsha Stewart's physical attack on Kenya at the reunion show, NeNe has told anyone who will listen that she thinks it was all Kenya's fault. In her blog post covering the reunion, NeNe pinpointed Kenya as the provoking bully who not only provoked Porsha all season long but her as well.
NeNe has also blasted Kenya for behaving so outrageously on the show, branding her a fool that will do anything for a few dollars. She has pointed out that producers of the show should have known what they were getting themselves into when they brought on Kenya.
Kenya certainly isn't taking NeNe's verbal attacks lying down. Kenya believes that she's the new queen bee of the show. While NeNe obviously thinks very highly of all of her accomplishments, Kenya doesn't think that NeNe has anything to be especially proud of. Kenya even once went so far as branding NeNe as just "a former stripper with a few short-lived gigs." Obviously, if both NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore return for season seven of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," viewers can expect a lot more nasty back-and-forth between the two.
