NeNe Leakes and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” seem almost inseparable. The cast member tends to be the woman that everyone looks to on set and the fans love her too. Which is why hearing that she might leave the show after this season is so disappointing. According to the Christian Post on Friday, the reality star offered up her take on the series and it appears that she is contemplating leaving the Bravo series.

Making an appearance on “The Arsenio Hall Show" on Wednesday, NeNe Leakes offered up why she might be departing the show. And while some people might think that Leakes is throwing shade, her reason for moving on actually makes sense.

"Things have just changed. We have new cast members that bring a little bit of bitterness to the cast. So therefore you have to get bitter with those girls," said NeNe Leakes on “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

While some viewers of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” seemed angered over how NeNe approached the first reunion show by not engaging with the ladies by eye contact and looking away, it’s far better than the scepter moving Kenya Moore who tends to incite anger by using props. NeNe Leakes says thing s like she feels and then let’s the discussion drop, which is what most normal adults do.

NeNe Leakes also has a reputation to consider. If she acts over the top on a reality show, it’s considered for an acting job. It’s also a point that the gossip rags could pick up and exploit, which could make her career in Hollywood more difficult to achieve.

So who has been threatening to go after this season from the show besides NeNe Leakes? Well, Kenya Moore is suggesting she won’t leave if Porsha Stewart isn't removed. And then there are rumors that Phaedra Parks might be exiting the show too. It is beginning to sound like the cast might be completely different in the next season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
