Fans of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" want to know if NeNe Leakes is fired or did she get a promotion? The rumor mill has shifted a bit since Thursday when, according to Toofab, Leakes showed up for the NBCUniversal Upfronts where the networks announce upcoming projects. Is this a publicity stunt or does Leakes presence mean she is staying with the network?

Soon after the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion special aired on Bravo, rumors that NeNe Leakes was fired from the show started making the rounds. According to the story, Andy Cohen was upset with the responses (or non-responses) NeNe gave during the three part special and wanted to show her that they really don't need her. Or do they?

In addition to Cohen supposedly being upset with Leakes, other reports state that the "RHOA" veteran started making big money demands. Having spent some time on a major network while filming "Glee" and "The New Normal," they say NeNe elevated herself to diva status and thought herself worth more than the other women. Many times throughout the season she claimed to be the protagonist and the most important person on the show.

Now Mediatakout has reported that NeNe may not be getting the ultimate downgrade after all. They claim the exclusive details of Leakes new Bravo spin-off show. That would be one way of removing Leakes from the rest of the "RHOA" cast that she can't seem to get along with.

No one really knows which story is true. Is NeNe fired or did she get her own show? Time will tell as usual but the fact that Leakes attended the NBCUniversal Upfronts for Bravo is a pretty good indicator that she won't be leaving the network. There is still a lot of speculation about "Real Housewives of Atlanta" contracts and who will be returning. Maybe NeNe realized her guest spot on Cirque Du Soleil's Zumanity will be over sooner rather than later. With "The New Normal" over and "Glee" ending, it really won't matter what she's done with the major networks because she isn't doing it now.

Will the Atlanta-based diva NeNe Leakes be holding a peach next season, will she get her own show or will Bravo kick her to the curb? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
