NeNe Leakes is denying that she signed a contract to host an event in Charlotte. Radar Online reports on Dec. 27 that event organizers have proof she signed paperwork and agreed to appear at the fashion show as a judge. However, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is fighting these claims on Twitter.
Leakes states she is not a part of the Roc Da Runway event and is asking the event organizers to remove her picture from their poster on Twitter. She claims they are trying to fool people into believing she is the host and judge of this fashion show, but she is not involved in any way.
Carlondo Brown, an organizer of the event, has produced a contract that has a signature from Leakes. He points out she agreed to host and judge the show in November by signing the paperwork. However, she suddenly changed her mind about the appearance and canceled. Brown does not provide a reason for the cancelation, but he is angry the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is claiming she had nothing to do with the event.
Brown has already found two replacements, Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas, to take over Leakes’ spot. A new poster with their pictures has appeared online, but NeNe’s comments on Twitter may have done some damage. She has retweeted posts from her fans that claim they will not attend the event without her present, and they are angry her image was used without permission.
