The fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” might be surprised to hear how NeNe Leakes feels on the Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart brawl. The star helped Porsha keep quiet after the incident, as seen on Sunday night, but the star is definitely suggesting that this isn't the first incident for the show to push conflict for a moment between stars. She also implies that Kenya Moore’s decision to bring props was provoking. According to LALate on Monday, NeNe Leakes outlined several antics where she could have exploded this season too.
“When is it 'okay' to BULLY someone, then question retaliation? Should there have been a halt to the foolish antics? Should PROPS be allowed in situations such as this?” asked NeNe Leakes on her official blog on Monday wanting the fans to weigh in about the situation.
NeNe Leakes does bring up a valid point. Did the show know that the props were going to be used to bully others on the couch? And why was Moore allowed to bring items in the first place? It is pretty obvious that anyone who brings a bullhorn to a sit down meeting will look to dominate the conversation. Add the history of the past season and it could get explosive quickly and the producers should have known.
There is also a mention of a bully in NeNe’s column. Is NeNe Leakes calling Kenya Moore a bully? Or the process of the reunions? This really is an interesting reflection of society today. As the majority of the population condones violence, how does the woman who repeatedly instigates fights with another person be rewarded with the label of being a victim of the situation.
It sounds like NeNe Leakes is upset with how Bravo has put provoking situations in her segments too. With Kenya being involved in all the situations, it appears that Moore’s antics are upsetting more than Porsha Stewart.
The Bravo production team has a big challenge after the reunion shows air. They need to decide who is coming back to the show and who might be leaving. As some fans are pulling for Kenya Moore and other fans want Porsha Stewart, it appears that NeNe Leakes might be a bigger factor than some viewers originally thought.
