NeNe Leakes blood clot scare: NeNe 'lucky' to be alive after blood clot scare

NeNe Leakes discussed her blood clot scare on a recent filming of "Dr. Oz." The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star said that she's lucky to have caught the clot -- because symptoms are not always recognizable. NeNe says that she's going to do her part to make sure that women are aware of these symptoms and that they seek medical help if they experience them. On Jan. 27, The Inquisitr reported the following:

"I just had this pain. It got worse and worse, and finally I said, 'I have to go to the emergency room,'" NeNe explained. Turns out, doctors found "multiple blood clots and a partially collapsed lung" after examining the reality television star.

NeNe Leakes' blood clot scare was very serious and who knows what could have happened had she not paid attention to what her body was telling her? Dr. Oz agreed that the best thing to do when you are unsure of an ache or a pain would be to seek medical assistance immediately. NeNe is doing much better now and she's feeling great. It certainly was a scary time for her, but she's better now and able to live life normally.
