Neil Young fans eager to purchase the legendary Canuck singer-songwriter's upcoming archive entry "Live at the Cellar Door" can check out a newly posted audio track for 'Cinnamon Girl.'
According to an article posted Nov. 29 at ThrashersWheat.org, the 'Heart of Gold' hitmaker has posted an audio clip for the song in its entirety, originally a 1969 hit for Young and his backing band Crazy Horse, performed solo by the veteran folk-rocker at a six-night stand in late 1970 at a Washington, D.C. club.
The clip runs 3:30 minute and features the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer performing the song live on a Steinway grand piano. Young says at the end of the song, “That’s the first time I ever did that one on the piano."
