Neil Young fans foaming at the mouth for the legendary Canuck singer-songwriter's upcoming archive entry 'Live at Cellar Door' can preview the entire album a week prior to its official release.
The "Heart of Gold" hitmakers has premiered the new live set on Dec. 2 at RollingStone.com in North America and at ClassicRockMagazine.com in Europe, all 13 tracks from the album are streaming in their entirety for a limited time via Soundcloud.
The album was recorded by the veteran folk-rocker at a six-night stand in late 1970 at a Washington, D.C. club.
Tracks include: 'On the Way Home,’‘Tell Me Why,’‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart,’ ‘After the Gold Rush,’ 'Expecting to Fly,’ ‘Bad Fog of Loneliness,’ 'Old Man Birds,' 'Don't Let It Bring You Down,' ‘See the Sky About to Rain,’ 'Cinnamon Girl,' 'I am a Child,' 'Down by The River' and ‘Flying on the Ground Is Wrong.’
The two-disc set will be available Dec. 10 on digital, CD and 180-gram vinyl.
The two-time Grammy winner will once again be honored by the Recording Academy during the 2014 Grammy week at a ceremony to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at the Village Studios in Los Angeles and also will perform four consecutive nights, beginning Jan. 6 - Jan. 10, 2014, at New York's legendary Carnegie Hall.
