Neil Young continues to veer unpredictably between Crazy Horse gigs and acoustic solo dates with the addition of another summer date in the U.K. and a fourth spring solo date in Los Angeles.

According to an updates posted Feb. 28 at NME.com, the legendary Canuck singer-songwriter has confirmed a new show with his “on again-off again” backing band on July 13 in Liverpool, England at Echo Arena and Thrasherswheat.com reports a fourth acoustic solo show April 2 at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.

The Liverpool date, which will follow Young and company's huge outdoor show on July 12 show in London's Hyde Park, is another in a series of make up dates in Germany, England, Ireland and Belgium by the band, following the cancellation of their 2013 Euro Alchemy Tour leg due to a hand injury suffered by guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro.

The new L.A. solo date is due to popular demand and will be in addition to the previously announced sold out shows on March 29, March 30 and April 1.

The "Heart of Gold" hitmaker began the year with a critically hailed four-night acoustic stand at New York's legendary Carnegie Hall, followed by four controversial solo benefit shows across Canada, raising money for Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Legal Defence (AFCN) Fund.

Did you know? Neil Young has begun work on a second memoir related to his lifetime love of cars, which will be a follow up to his successful 2012 memoir "Waging Heavy Peace," set for release in the fall.
