The finale to the hit series “How I Met Your Mother” is still being hotly debated across the internet, but Neil Patrick Harris is already pursuing new projects. According to an April 2 report by People, the star’s role in the Broadway version of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” has required him to step outside of his comfort zone.

Some actors have expressed concern that spending a length of time acting on a sitcom can dull one’s acting ability. However, this does not seem to be a problem for Neil Patrick Harris on Broadway. In fact, the production’s composer, Stephen Trask, has remarked on Harris’ extraordinary work ethic and attention to detail.

Working with him has sort of been a revelation because he is so incredibly detailed and hardworking and wants to get inside every single word that Hedwig sings or says." - Stephen Trask

It seems that Neil Patrick Harris is destined for Broadway success in his rendition as Hedwig. According to reports, every song he sang was a showstopper, and the audience went nuts every time he appeared on the stage.
