Neil Patrick Harris, star of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Doogie, Howser, M.D." has become the proud father of twins with his partner David Burtka. Harris welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl on October 12, 2010.
Neil Patrick Harris used Twitter to send a message to his followers about how babies Gideon Scott and Harper Grace are doing at home. The message Harris sent on Friday, October 15, 2010:
"All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."
No stranger to Twitter, a previous post from the star of television and Broadway sent a Tweet to followers while still awaiting the birth of his children. In the message, Neil Patrick Harris shared his feelings about becoming a father and pleaded for privacy:
"We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy,"
The babies were born to a surrogate mother, according to People magazine.
