Negro Ensemble Company to hold series of readings

The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. (NEC) will hold a series of readings at the Pershing Square Signature Center in New York City through March and April with the series kicking off on March 17, 2014. It will feature four plays including one musical written by celebrated playwrights, none of which have been produced before for New York audiences. The schedule includes the following:

March 17 – “Fathers and Sons” by Michael Bradford

March 24 – “Legends” by Leslie Lee

March 31 – “Carver” – a musical by Micki Grant

April 14 - “Last of the Line” by Samm-Art Williams

All readings begin at 7:00 pm at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre in The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036. A VIP Reception will immediately follow each reading. Tickets are $20 per reading and $30 per night which includes the VIP Reception.
