Update 12/3/13 12:45 p.m. (PST) Camp Cocker is rescuing Mink from the facility!
A Cocker spaniel, who appears to have led a less than stellar life, arrived to the South Los Angeles Animal Care and Control Center in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 27.
The dog, named "Mink," had several medical issues which indicated that she was not well cared for before her arrival, including goopy eyes, yeasty ears and skin which needs some attention.
Somehow, a portion of one of Mink's ears is missing entirely...
Despite her "flaws," Mink is a sweet, gentle dog who needs to catch a break.
Mink is said to be six years of age, though her sad expression and neglected body make her seem older. At the facility, Mink was treated to a much needed bath and she behaved like a perfect lady.
