Today’s installment of the beard care series comes with a bonus. In addition to beard balm, beard oil, mustache wax, and a beard wash, and as an added bonus, this company also sent along a handmade necktie from from Thailand. This is an interesting company with an interesting approach to making and selling products and that’s why you need to know about Craft Culture Co.

Cedar Fern Beard Wash - This stuff is unusual, but in the best sort of way. Instead of thick and viscous like your run of the mill shampoo, this facial hair friendly beard wash is quite thin and there’s stuff in it. The stuff, a blend of castile soap, organic jojoba oil, avocado oil, vegetable glycerin, acacia powder, and tea tree, rosemary, lavender, juniper, and pine essential oils is meant to clean without damaging, supply nutrients like vitamins A, B, D, and E, and help prevent your beard from getting tangled.

Beard Balm - This chemical-free formula is strictly plant-based and free of palm oil or any petroleum-based ingredients. Instead it contains shea butter to keep the beard soft, grape seed oil for moisture and a healthy shine, avocado oil for vitamins and amino acids, and beeswax for hold and volume.

Sultan’s Spice Beard Oil - This beard oil, though not unlike a lot of the beard oils out there today does have a particularly exotic scent to it. In addition to avocado, grape seed, coconut, jojoba, and argan oils, all of which help make for a healthy beard while keeping it kink-free and untangled, the secret to Sultan’s Spice is the spice (insert Dune commentary here). With frankincense, petitgrain (from bitter orange), pepper, and clove, your beard will have an air of spice trader to it. Nice.

Sultan’s Spice Mustache Wax - With the same exotic scent as the beard oil, this extra hold wax is brimming with the kind of goodies to coerce that mustache of yours to do whatever you want while keeping it healthy. Shea butter softens while carnauba wax takes control. Beeswax and pine sap help make the mustache wax manageable while a touch of olive oil helps keep the skin underneath nice and healthy.

Yellow Gold Raw Silk Neck Tie - Raw silk is both rustic and luxurious at the same time. The texture of it can be a bit nubby and rough while still maintaining a gentle drape. This handmade neck tie comes from Thailand where the silk is personally selected by one of the founders of Craft Culture. There’s a limited number of each color made and due to the random nature of raw silk, no two ties will be exactly the same.
