“The Fall Guy” is newest episode of Necessary Roughness. Beware, this article contains spoilers. To refresh your memory on what happened last time, click here. Necessary Roughness kicks off a two part episode starting next Wednesday night at 9 on USA, channel 21 for Houstonians.
Dani’s got family in town! This is a great opportunity to learn more about her and her childhood. A lot of the storyline isn’t the most entertaining thing in the world. There’s family drama and old sibling rivalry stuff happening. However, there are some great scenes. Dani’s dinner with Matt reveals why she became a shrink. It’s just great to hear Dani talk about her family in her own words. Did you love the family time?
Juliette Pittman is no more! Well, okay she still exists, but she is no longer the owner of the Hawks. Surprisingly, she is let go because of something she did while trying to actually help the team. She doesn’t seem to be intentionally sabotaging things, just trying to help in illegal ways. It’s a little strange that the writers decide to wrap things up so quickly in regards to her term at the owner of the Hawks. Of course it looks like the writers are still going to pursue her relationship with Ray Jay. Right now it seems like Juliette as the owner of the Hawks would be a much more entertaining storyline to watch. Do you agree or are you interested in what will happen with Ray Jay and Juliette dating?
Here are quick thoughts on elsewhere in the episode. TK tries to bond with Rex, the quarterback in order to get him to throw the ball more. This storyline provides a lot of the humor of the episode. In the end, however, it turns into a great moment for TK where he calls Dani after having a drink. The writers are handling TK’s recovery well. The Coach problem is alright. A lot more could have been done with Coach and his problems. It’s a nice touch to bring in Felicia, his wife, but she isn’t really utilized. Did you enjoy the episode?
