R&B singer Ne-Yo is readying the release of his new album, "Non-Fiction" and is set to hit the road with a string of live performances to promote the release. In addition to his own scheduled performances at several "House of Blues" locations, Singersroom reported on Aug 3, that "the Gentleman" of R&B is also set to join fellow R&B singers, Trey Songz & Chris Brown, on their upcoming joint tour and Usher on his "UR Experience World Tour."
The album has been slated for a November 11 release and will feature the hit single, "Money Can't Buy" ft. rapper Young Jeezy and the anticipated second single, "She Knows" ft rapper Juicy J. Ne-Yo says this album will give fans what they know and love from him which is true R&B.
“I had a little stint with the dance music and all of that, which I had a good time with– and I love the audience, I love them for accepting me doing it –but I had to go home on this one. Had to take it back to my roots, and not to say that there won’t be one, maybe two songs on there that the dance crowd can get into, but the majority, the girth of the album, will be R&B,” he told Billboard earlier this year via Singersroom.
To celebrate his return to R&B and the new album Ne-Yo has announced an "11-date North American trekwith his forthcoming tour "One Night With Ne-Yo," reports Vibe. The month of October 2014 is packed full of dates and locations where fans can catch Ne-Yo live on stage for one night only. Amongst those cities are San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Myrtle Beach.
And although no dates have been set as of yet, in the spirit of R&B Ne-Yo will possibly join "The UR Experience World Tour" alongside Usher and take the stage for the talked about upcoming Fall tour with VA natives, Chris Brown and Trey Songz for their joint tour.
Ironically, all four R&B crooners have projects that are in the works. According to Stack, Trey is currently promoting his sixth studio album, "Trigga," which was released last month. Chris Brown is prepping for the release of his sixth LP, which is titled "X," hitting shelves in mid-September and it features collaborations with rapper Kendrick Lamar and producers Diplo and Danja. And lastly, Usher is still working on his 8th studio album which has already released hit singles like, "Good Kisser," and "She Came to Give it to You," ft Nicki Minaj.
