The fans of “NCIS: Los Angeles” have to be extremely excited about the news out of Hollywood. The Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced Thursday morning that “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Chris O’Donnell will be honored on Hollywood’s famous boulevard. According to Variety Magazine on Thursday, the committee put together a list of famous folks and the coming year represents big names in the entertainment business.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is where fans visit to check out the stars and everything related to TV and movies. Over 10 million people come to Hollywood to see the stars every year. Looking to get an insight into the entertainment business, the walk of fame is one stop on the itinerary that really resonates with fans as they mosey around Hollywood. The new names are easily recognizable and give people one more reason to come to the city.
The opportunity to honor Chris O’Donnell from “NCIS: Los Angeles” seems really appropriate. The star is seen every week on television but his career has also touched theater too. With amazing roles in “Fried Green Tomatoes,” “School Ties,” “Scent of a Woman,” “The Chamber,” and his roles as Robin in “Batman & Robin,” and “Batman Forever.”
Today the star is best known for his Los Angeles crime fighting character on the TV hit show “NCIS: Los Angeles.” Playing NCIS Special Agent G. Callen on the CBS crime drama the star find himself keeping the country safe while avoiding plenty of fast action on the streets of Los Angeles.
The list of entertainers in the television category expected to get a Hollywood star is impressive for 2015. James L. Brooks, Ken Ehrlich, Bobby Flay, Seth MacFarlane, Julianna Margulies, Jim Parsons, Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa and Sofia Vergara join Chris O’Donnell in being honored in 2015. So far no word on where Chris O’Donnell’s star might be placed, but hopefully fans will see the location on an upcoming show (even if Agent Callen only just drives by on a high speed chase.)
