“NCIS” returns to CBS Tuesday night, and fans cannot wait to get started with season 11. On Sept. 24 TVLine shared a few “NCIS” spoilers about what to expect, and many viewers are anxious to see just how Cote de Pablo's exit will take place.
There will be an explosion in D.C. that “causes a casualty connected to the agency.” This leads Parsons to change course when it comes to Gibbs and the crew. McGee and DiNozzo will get involved in investigation the case, though they will be investigating as civilians. Viewers will meet McGee's girlfriend Delilah. Ziva's exit will begin with what happens in Tuesday's episode.
TV Guide teases that this episode is titled, “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” The synopsis indicates that the explosion happens at a black-tie affair, and Parsons and Gibbs have to work together on the case. The case has “dangerous ties” to both McGee and DiNozzo, which will certainly make for an interesting component. The premiere for season 11 is a two-parter, and it will ultimately focus on writing Ziva off the canvas. TV Guide shares that during Tuesday's premiere Ziva is “out in the ether,” and Tony has to find her and bring her back.
While fans will get some of Tony and Ziva in the premiere, what fans are really anxious to see will take place in the next episode from the sounds of things. Tiva fans will get closure, but people are still disappointed that Ziva will be gone. Tuesday's premiere will also fill in the details regarding what happened during the four months between episodes. Viewers will find out why Gibbs apparently shoots Fornell, but some of the insight will happen in the second episode of season 11.
Ziva fans are dubious that they will get an ending that satisfies them, but they will surely be tuning in to see what happens. Will they stick around once Cote de Pablo is off the canvas? Many will be curious to see what happens with ratings this season, though some are betting the show can and will recover.
