"NCIS" isn't exactly the type of show that brings people back from the dead, but despite that, Muse Watson has appeared more than once since dying as Mike Franks—and he'll be back again in season 11, as CBS revealed on Thursday, Oct. 3, with the episode description of "Anonymous Was a Woman."
Watson plays Mike Franks, the man who can call Gibbs Probie and who died back in season 8's "Swan Song." But death can't stop Mike Franks, even though "NCIS" is a procedural drama. Watson has since appeared on the show, including in season 9's "Life Before His Eyes" and "Damned If You Do" last season, and now the fan favorite will be returning in episode 4, "Anonymous Was a Woman."
In this upcoming episode, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) head to Afghanistan when a murder case leads them to an Afghan's women's shelter. It turns out Mike Franks had secretly supported it for years. Also back in this episode are Leyla (Tehmina Sunny) and Amira (Zoey Diaz).
"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. "Anonymous Was a Woman" airs Oct. 15. Are you looking forward to seeing Muse Watson as Mike Franks again?
