If you're anything like us, you love it when Ralph Waite shows up as Jackson Gibbs, so you're going to love what's coming up in next week's "NCIS" season 11 episode 7, "Better Angels," for which CBS released a sneak preview Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Yes, Waite is back in the next "NCIS" episode, which will see Gibbs (Mark Harmon) leave mid-case to help Jackson reconnect with a former war pilot. And when the father's away, the kids will play. When Gibbs leaves, Tony (Michael Weatherly) and McGee (Sean Murray) argue over who should run lead as they investigate the murder of a Marine Sergeant.
The "Better Angels" promo to the left begins with Jackson telling Gibbs he wants him to come with him to see an old war buddy. It's time for a road trip into the past, and this is going to be a tough one for Jackson. As the preview ends, Gibbs finds out there's been "an incident" involving his father. What happened with Jackson? Should we be worried about this episode leading to another rift between father and son?
