Tony (Michael Weatherly) is taking a trip to France in this week's episode of "NCIS," but unfortunately, he's not going to have much time to enjoy the city. In fact, the sneak peek CBS released on Monday, May 5, from episode 11x23, "The Admiral's Daughter," teases trouble for Tony.
In this next episode, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) gives Tony a special assignment and sends him to France to bring home an Admiral's daughter. However, he has to turn to his team for help after he enters a controversial crime scene, and that's what we get teased about in the new clip from this episode.
Sure, things could not be better for Tony in this "The Admiral's Daughter" sneak peek, but that all changes pretty quickly. He apparently got bumped up to first class on his way to France because it was overbooked. He's sitting in France, at a café, enjoying being Tony. Plus, he gets some gloating in over the phone to McGee (Sean Murray) back home. But really, he doesn't have to do much gloating other than "I'm not where you are" because the team's crime scene back home is one you want to be far away from. A body was discovered inside a septic tank, and while McGee used Tony's trick coin to make sure he's not the one going in, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) has some bad news: "Put it on. You're going in the tank."
However, once he hangs up, that all changes. Tony approaches NCIS' field office in France, only to notice that the security camera has been disconnected and the door is open. Gun out, he goes in and finds dead bodies…just before local police burst in. Great timing, really.
Plus, don't forget to check out the promotional photos CBS has released from this episode in the slideshow. They show more of the NCIS team's crime scene at home, as well as Tony in France with the Admiral's daughter, played by Meg Steedle.
"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of this episode 23 "The Admiral's Daughter" clip?
