'NCIS' season 11 episode 23 preview: Tony's covert mission, partying and trouble

It looks like next week's "NCIS," the penultimate one of the season, episode 11x23, "The Admiral's Daughter," is going to be one of the more light-hearted ones. On Tuesday, April 29, CBS released a new sneak preview teasing a special assignment for Tony (Michael Weatherly).

After the two most recent episodes have tackled important subject matters like personal assault and homeless veterans, it looks like "NCIS" is giving us a chance to smile again with this next episode. Just take a look at the promo if you don't think so. This is going to be one wild ride – especially for Tony.

In this episode, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) tasks Tony with a special assignment to bring home an Admiral's daughter from Marseilles, France. That should be easy enough for an NCIS agent, especially someone who's been in law enforcement as long as Tony has, right? Wrong. What happens when they face someone with a gun? Well, Tony seems to react like you would think the partying girl would react before grabbing her and running. It just gets worse, as they end up on a party bus. So what exactly is going on with this girl? Has she gotten mixed up with the wrong people? "Please tell me DiNozzo made it to the border," Vance says. Well…

"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the episode 23 "The Admiral's Daughter" promo?
