"NCIS" season 11 has premiered, and just like the season 10 finale, "Damned If You Do," "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" ended with a cliffhanger: Where is Ziva? Episode 2, "Past, Present, and Future," is Cote de Pablo's last episode—though they're not killing her off, so she could return, and on Tuesday, Sept. 24, CBS released a sneak peek of her farewell.
In this next "NCIS" episode, Tony (Michael Weatherly) chases leads in Israel as he tries to track down Ziva, who, as the team learned in the premiere, was the next target. When Adam (Damon Dayoub) got to her place, however, he found three dead men and her necklace left behind as a message. Meanwhile, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team continue the hunt for Parsa, who claimed responsibility for the explosion that killed Jarvis, among others, and landed Tom Morrow (Alan Dale) in the hospital, and his growing terrorist ring.
The "Past, Present, and Future" promo to the left is all about Ziva's farewell—and a major Tiva moment. Tony does find her, and he is the one who gets that final and what we imagine will be the only real farewell. "You are so…loved," she tells him, and they kiss. Yes, Tony and Ziva kiss in her final episode and they showed it in the promo.
"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the episode 2 "Past, Present, and Future" promo?
