Ready to get a look at the newest possible spinoff in the "NCIS" world? That's what's coming in next week's episode, "Crescent City," the first of a two-parter, for which CBS released a new sneak preview on Tuesday, March 18.
In this next "NCIS" episode, the body of Congressman Dan McLane, a former agent, washes ashore in New Orleans, leading to a joint case between the two offices and the FBI. (Yes, Joe Spano is back as Fornell.) These teams must work together to figure out if the murder was politically based or linked to McLane's most well known case, the arrest of the Privileged Killer, a serial murderer who targeted military and public servants. Something to note: Muse Watson (Mike Franks) is listed in the guest cast.
Meet the New Orleans team: Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride (Scott Bakula), Special Agent Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black), Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody (Zoe McLellan) and Jeffersonian Parish Coroner Doctor Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder).
The "Crescent City" promo begins with Vance (Rocky Carroll)(hey, he's back!) in his office with Pride and Gibbs (Mark Harmon), but it looks like Gibbs isn't the only one who knows Pride, if that hug with Abby (Pauley Perrette) is anything to go by. The rest of the preview offers a look at "NCIS'" New Orleans and their "old school" ways that "still [work] in Louisiana," as Pride explains. Plus, check out that voodoo doll of Tony (Michael Weatherly)!
"NCIS" season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of this first look at New Orleans?
