How are Sam and Callen going to get out of that submarine? Well, the "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 6 promo, which was released Tuesday, Sept. 2, only shows all the problems they will be facing while trapped.

Last season of "NCIS: LA" ended with Sam and Callen trapped on a submarine, with terrorists, setting off for an unknown destination, and unable to communicate with the rest of the team. Meanwhile, Hetty was leaving for Washington to face a line of questioning about the White Ghost, and Talia had joined the team to help with the investigation.

Now, in the first episode back, the terrorists have set a target: an aircraft carrier in San Diego. Hetty defies orders and forgoes her trip to Washington to help the others try to find and save their missing team members – but they have to also find a way to stop the terrorist attack as well.

The "Deep Trouble, Pt. II" promo shows that Callen and Sam have found a way to contact the team, but it doesn't look like there's any other good news coming for the two agents trapped. In fact, it's just one problem after another, but Eric's "it's a giant underwater bomb" to Hetty's "they have orders to destroy on contact." Yes, the Navy is fully prepared to take the necessary actions, and it's not a good sign that Hetty's response to Eric asking what they can do is "pray." How are they getting out of this one?

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 6 premieres Monday, Sept. 29, at 10 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the first "Deep Trouble, Pt. II" promo"
