This week, the case is a bit personal for Sam (LL Cool J), but before things get serious, there will be, like usual, some joking around for the team at their desks. That's what you can see in the sneak peek CBS released on Monday, April 28, from "NCIS: Los Angeles" episode 5x22 "One More Chance."
For the serious part of the episode, Sam becomes convinced that the theft of software for a new highly sought-after unmanned vehicle is connected to the disappearance of the lead engineer's 10-year-old-daughter. That same girl is someone Sam once provided protection detail for in Saudi Arabia. As the promo has teased already, it looks like he's right.
Now for some light-hearted banter in the "One More Chance" sneak peek – and it is all about Facebook. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) informs the others, "Every year, I disinfect my entire electronic world, so Instagram, Twitter, DVR, iPod, Facebook, the whole shebang." (You do have to wonder how he has time to update everything.) Callen (Chris O'Donnell) seems surprised that he's on Facebook (check out his name – Marty McSurfin – and his profile photo), but Deeks explains that he and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) use aliases, don't post photos to compromise them, and all that. That's when the disagreement begins.
Kensi thinks her page is fine, but Deeks doesn't agree. He then gives the rundown of how he deletes friends, and Eric meets one of his requirements (a "food-booker"). However, Kensi is also close to getting deleted because she is a "vague-booker." "You post these obtuse and vague photos that elicit a response," he explains. "There are worst things, but I really can't think of any." Kensi then brings up his own problem: "How about the dude that dedicates 11 albums to his dog?"
And what about Sam and Callen's contributions to this conversation? Sam declares, "I dust my digitals daily," and Callen is just very amused.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. What do you think of this episode 22 "One More Chance" clip?
