It's time for another joint investigation on "NCIS: Los Angeles" with next week's "Fish Out of Water," for which CBS released a new sneak preview on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Mercedes Masohn guest stars in this next "NCIS: LA" episode, which sees the team investigating an explosion at a fish market, which leads to them partnering up with an undercover DEA agent to determine if this was an act of terrorism or a botched drug smuggling deal.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the White Ghost continues in Afghanistan, and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Granger (Miguel Ferrer) look into a helicopter crash that could potentially be tied to their search. "Tuhon" saw Kensi come right out and accuse Sabatino (Erik Palladino) of being the White Ghost, and he ended up sending her back to base, where Granger insisted he wasn't the man she was there to kill.
Palladino isn't listed in the guest cast for this next episode (or the one following, "Between the Lines"), but Andrew Leeds is back as Tech Operator John Booker. If Sabatino isn't the White Ghost, could he end up being another one of his victims?
The "Fish Out of Water" promo begins with the explosion at the fish market, which makes Callen (Chris O'Donnell) wonder, "Who targets a fish market?" Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) has an answer: "Militant vegans." However, with words like "sleeper cell" being thrown around, it sounds like this could be more than just a drug smuggling deal gone wrong.
But the best moment has to be Deeks showing Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen a red herring. Oh, Deeks, please never change. Plus, don't forget to check out the slideshow for the promotional photos CBS has released from this episode.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the episode 16 "Fish Out of Water" photos and promo?
