NCIS Los Angeles - Lokhay - aired 2/26 (Photos)

In this episode of NCIS Los Angeles, Sam’s former life as a SEAL has left his heart scarred and you can tell that although he is a big man that his heart is sweet and gentile. After Moe’s death, this seems more evident. In “Lokhay,” Sam had been called to assist an Afghani elder named Yusef. He needs help finding his missing nephew, Amir. Yusef was the man who was responsible for saving Sam’s life during a mission in Afghanistan. So there was nothing that Director Granger or even Hetty could have done to stop him from investigating.

As we have seen through many episodes Sam has a strong sense of honor and obligation, and a huge big heart. Those traits help him as an agent, however, in this situation they put him at odds with his job. Eric ignored the orders to leave the investigation alone, of course, and reviewed the traffic camera footage. He traced the abduction back to a highly sought after terrorist known as “The Ambassador,” Haakim Habib. This evidence opened the doors for Hetty and Granger to assign an official case to the NCIS team.
