'NCIS: Los Angeles': LL Cool J talks hosting 2012 Grammys

For the first time in several years, the 2012 Grammy Awards on February 12 are going to have a host -- and it is someone who is already a little bit excited for the gig.

In a sit-down chat on "Entertainment Tonight," LL Cool J of "NCIS: Los Angeles" described a little bit of what his hosting style will be -- and it doesn't seem as though he is going to be emulating what Ricky Gervais does at the Golden Globes in any shape or form:

"[I want to] let the perfo rmers and artists speak for themselves ... Because the show is not about me, it's about the Grammys and about the artists that are nominated, so I just want to have fun, just have a good time."

There already are a good many performances scheduled for the big night -- including Coldplay and Rihanna along with a possibility of Adele giving her first American performance since undergoing throat surgery in the fall.
