In this episode of NCIS Los Angeles the team has been given the task of investigating a possible return of a 1970’s group that was responsible for several bombings, including one at a Navy base that took place after one of their members had been found stabbed. They began investigating the Gun Barrel Party (GBP) and things took some shocking twists and turns. They even found that a member who was presumed dead had gone to school and became a professor under a different name. That position of authority gave him access to impressionable young students.
They investigated the case by following a trail of clues that included a new group at the college, Red Tide. One of the members of this new group gave the professor dynamite to blow up his office, home, and a fortune 500 company in the area. It seemed that after many years underground and hiding his true identity that he was ready to wreak havoc on the nation again.
Of course, the professor was caught in the end and the team enjoyed the end of the festivities to honor an office member who was retiring. The office members name was Morgan but is never shown. They spend a good bit of time in the beginning and the end of the show talking about retirement and it makes you wonder if Hetty is retiring soon. There also seemed to be a good bit of discussion about Sam’s family and that leaves us wondering if we will soon find out more about his wife.
