'NCIS: Los Angeles' 5x18 sneak peek: Why is Callen late for work?

One of the team's love lives is going well on "NCIS: Los Angeles" right now. At least, that's what his teammates think in the sneak peek CBS released Monday, March 24, from this week's episode 518, "Zero Days."

In this next "NCIS: LA," it's up to the team to figure out if a computer system that controls Russian missiles is at risk, while Kensi (Daniela Ruah) faces someone from her past in Afghanistan. This is all really serious stuff, so enjoy the light-hearted moment we get in the "Zero Days" sneak peek while you can.

This season saw Sam (LL Cool J) and his wife set up their friends on a blind date, and surprise! Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Joelle (Elizabeth Bogush) have hit it off! Callen deserves to have something good in his life, like the rest of the team, so this has been a nice touch.

In fact, as this new clip shows, things seem to be going so well for the two that Callen is late to work one morning, as Deeks points out that while he knows where his partner is in space and time, Sam doesn't. Or so he thinks. Sam explains that Callen is probably "more than fine" since he had a date with Joelle the night before, and yes, Deeks gets the picture.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of this episode 18 "Zero Days" clip?
