So much for the weekend for this NCIS team. In the upcoming episode "NCIS: Los Angeles," 523, "Exposure," a case interrupts any weekend plans the team might have, and on Friday, April 25, CBS released promotional photos teasing what to expect in an explosive case.

In this "NCIS: LA" episode, when a news reporter announces the group responsible for a deadly explosion at a military-sponsored charity event, the team is called in for the weekend case to investigate her claims and search for the attacker. Does this remind anyone of the "NCIS" episode, "Deception," just a bit in the sense that the team's weekend is interrupted by a case? Guest stars include Tiffany Dupont ("Greek") as ZNN Reporter Dana Steele and Tony Okungbowa (guest DJ on "Ellen") as Bakri Deng. Plus, as the guest cast reveals, Homeland Security is going to be involved, and Eric Allan Kramer is returning as Special Agent Tom Panetti.

The "Exposure" photos in the slideshow are nearly all of Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) at a crime scene. Sam has found a shoe, and it's probably best not to think about what has happened to its owner. Callen is on the phone, possibly with Eric (Barrett Foa) or Nell (Renée Felice Smith) in Ops, if we had to guess, as the team tries to put the pieces together and figure out what happened.

Also, you can get a look at Tiffany Dupont as the ZNN Reporter, Dana Steele, in one of the images, her notepad out and microphone in hand. Plus, the fire engine and crime scene tape behind her suggests that this may be the same scene as the other photos.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. "Exposure" will air May 6. What do you think of these episode 23 photos?
