"NCIS: Los Angeles" is currently on hiatus on CBS, but fans are now being teased with new details about what is coming up next when the series returns. On Saturday, Dec. 28, Enstarz shared two new tweets from John Peter Kousakis. He is an executive producer on the series.
The first episode after the winter hiatus is titled "Allegiance." During the episode, Kensi will work her team back home to uncover the details behind the death of a federal agent. The investigation will uncover a connection to a terrorist plot. Kousakis said the following on his Twitter, according to the site:
E512-tease...the Afghan saga ramps up for Kensi and Granger. US currency plays a factor. #staytuned #NCISLA [Andrew Bartels] co-author! #danger.
Kensi, who is played by Daniela Ruah, will still have her own mission to handle in Afghanistan as well, and this mission will put her in danger. Kensi will spend seven episodes in Afghanistan, and Kousakis shared this about her mission on his Twitter:
2014 spoiler: Kensi gets serious about her mission in Afghanistan. Her plan to capture the White ghost is bold! #NCISLA.
Kensi will have to be careful. The last person sent out on this case lost their head. That is in the literal sense. What do you think? Are you excited to see what happens next on this series? "NCIS: Los Angeles" will return to CBS on Jan. 14.
