Fans of “NCIS” get a worldly story on Tuesday night. Instead of seeing the area of Washington, the special assignment given to NCIS Special Agent Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo takes him half want around the world. While fans know that anytime the agents step out of the office there might be a murder close by, the story doesn’t set up as a typical crime scene. According to USA Today on Tuesday, the episode was based on going to France, but it actually was shot in Los Angeles and made to look like the European country.

Director Vance gives Agent DiNozzo a special assignment and it looks like the rest of the team is green with envy. DiNozzo is to bring home an Admiral’s daughter from Marseilles, France. It sounds like a simple assignment with maybe a few movie quotes, but things get complicated fast. He must turn to his NCIS team for help after he enters a controversial crime scene. Hoping to do his job while solving a crime, there isn’t any doubt this is a tough assignment.

With only a few more episodes before the season finale, the fans of “NCIS” have been watching the show closely to catch all the special moments with the cast. Expecting not to have a big cliffhanger before the summer break, the series has been sharing the personalities of the different characters in interesting scenarios (like DiNozzo’s work this week.)

As the fans are watching closely to see if any more actors might exit the series, there was good news for the viewers on Tuesday. TV Line is reporting that all the actors have signed for the upcoming season and will be back. With everyone slated to return, it appears that the crime fighting in the Washington area will continue.

“NCIS” airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
