This episode of NCIS featured a surprise of Duckie and Palmer being kidnapped after they picked up a dead body who’s store didn’t make a lot of sense. There also seemed to be some tension between Tony and Tim when Tony finds out that Tim’s cousin has been a concert ticket connection for him and their co-workers for several years. As usual the team pulls it all together at the end but it all made for a very interesting episode with a few surprises.
Duckie previously was an unlikely suspect to be the one that would plan and be able to take out his kidnappers but that is exactly what happened. He and Palmer outwitted the kidnappers and escaped into the woods but after Duckie twisted his ankle they were no longer able to run and to come up with a few more tricks. Palmer thought that he had killed one of the kidnapers, which would have been a first for him but he stood up showing that although Palmer did shoot him the man was not dead. The rest of the NCIS team showed up and arrested the man but the woman, who seemed to be the leader of the kidnappers was not there.
It turned out that they were kidnapped with the deceased body that they had picked up. These kidnappers believed that the deceased had something that they wanted and when they couldn’t find it on his body they wanted to look in his body and see if he had it as well as who had shot him before he drank the drain cleaner and killed himself. The woman seemed to be boss of the kidnapping and was unknowingly set up by Palmer who tricked her into thinking that a key was found in the deceased mans stomach. Of course it was not, it was actually the key to his gym locker and the team caught her when she went to check it out.
