NCAA selects championship sites for 2015-2018 and regional sites in 2015-16

Four sites were selected Wednesday by the NCAA to all host Frozen Fours from 2015 to 2018. Three of them are returning hosts, but there will be one new one.

Boston’s TD Garden will host its third Frozen Four in 2015 with the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, FL getting its second in 2016. The Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN will see its third Frozen Four in 2018.

The United Center in Chicago will see its first Frozen Four in 2017.

The NCAA also announced sites for the 2015 and 2016 men’s NCAA regionals:

In 2015, the East Regional will be in Providence, RI while the Northeast happens in Manchester, N.H. The Midwest Regional takes place in South Bend, Ind., while the West occurs in Fargo, ND.

In 2016, the East Regional will be in Albany, NY while the Northeast in Worcester, Mass. The Midwest regional takes place in Cincinnati, and the West Regional will occur in St. Paul, MN.
