The last of the NCAA football 2013 live stream and TV games on Saturday, Sept. 15's schedule for week 3 will include a matchup between the Big Ten and Pac 12 conferences. It will be the No.20 Wisconsin Badgers visiting the Sun Devils of Arizona State, as both teams seek to stay perfect early in this season. The latest televised and live stream college football game will be presented via the ESPN networks on Saturday evening.
According the AP via ESPN on Sept. 14, tonight's game will give the No.20 team a serious opponent as a measuring stick for their early success. Already, the Badgers have defeated their first two opponents by a combined score of 93-0. Those first two teams, Massachusetts and Tennessee Tech, are considered nowhere near the competition Wisconsin will face on Saturday night in Arizona. Now they'll face a team that ranks right up there with them in terms of defense, as both Wisconsin and Arizona State rank at 1-2 in the categories statically.
Wisconsin coach Gary Anderson said of his team's efforts so far heading into this matchup:
"I like the fact that we have gotten into the games and we started well emotionally. We weren't too high. We weren't too low.
So it's prepared us. It's time to move on, and we go play the next team on our schedule, and we're excited about the opportunity. I believe we'll be prepared."
With the game taking place late at night, it's still expected to be extremely hot for those accustomed to Wisconsin weather. Forecasts called for temperatures in the low 80's to 102 degrees throughout the day in Tempe, Arizona. Wisconsin safety Dezmen Southward summed up what he felt the team's strategy should be as it relates to weather, saying, "The only thing we can do is make sure we're hydrated well, and we're prepared as far as physically to go out and play a four-quarter game and not cramping up,"
After breezing to a 55-0 win over Sacramento State in their first game, the Sun Devils have a 1-0 record on the season. Saturday night's game will certainly provide a bit more of a test for the team some have referred to as "an enigma" in the Pac-12 this season. The team may have the statistics in their favor for this latest matchup with a Big Ten team. Arizona State is currently 2-1 all-time in the series with Wisconsin, and 8-0 all-time at their home stadium against the Big Ten conference.
Head coach Todd Graham said of this game and upcoming games against teams like Stanford and Notre Dame:
"It's a great opportunity and great exposure for our program. It's a great opportunity to take our program to the next level and that's what our focus is. I'm excited about it."
Saturday night's Wisconsin vs. Arizona State game has a start time of 10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at Sun Devil Stadium. The game will be televised on cable or satellite TV's around the nation via ESPN in standard or hi-definition formats. In addition, customers with access to WatchESPN service can watch the game live streaming online using laptops, mobile devices, video game consoles and other devices, as available.
