Tonight's NCAA football 2013 live stream and TV schedule will feature a battle from within the ACC conference, as the Virginia Tech Hokies and Georgia Tech Yellowjackets battle on the field. While neither VA Tech or GA Tech are currently among the Top 25, it could still make for a compelling battle as teams try to advance in the conference. Tonight's game will get a national spotlight, with the NCAA live stream and TV coverage presented via ESPN.
The Vegas Insider website reported on Sept. 25 that tonight's game will take place at Bobby Doody Stadium in Atlanta with a start time of 7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN. They also note that whichever squad wins tonight's game could be listed among the Top 25 poll rankings that come out next week. It's expected that winning tonight's game may go a long way towards claiming the ACC division title this season, as well. Virginia Tech is on a three-game win streak, since their opening loss, but as noted, the wins have been hard fought, including last week's three overtime win against Marshall 29-21.
Coming into tonight's game, Georgia Tech sits at 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the ACC. VA Tech is 3-1, suffering one loss to the #1 team in the nation, the Alabama Crimson Tide, in their opener. They've yet to play an ACC game, so this will be their first conference test of the young season. According to ESPN, GA Tech is ranking fourth overall in rushing yards, and is top 12 in the nation in both "points for" and "points against" statistical categories, while VA Tech is ranking top 100 in passing and rushing yards, as well as points for. They rank at 28th overall in points against, their best statistical category.
In terms of betting odds, Georgia Tech hosts the game and enters as the favorite, with a line of -7 1/2 and an over/under of 43 1/2 combined points. In their previous matchup, VA Tech was favored by -7 1/2 and ended up winning it 20-17 in OT in 2012.
Tonight's VA Tech vs. Georgia Tech game has a start time of 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Roanoke viewers can watch on cable or satellite TV via ESPN or ESPN HD. In addition, customers whose cable or satellite providers give them access, can watch this matchup live streaming online at the WatchESPN website's video feed.
