The NCAA football 2013 live stream and television games begin for the week 10 schedule on Thursday, Oct. 31, as several teams will be on the field on Halloween night. Among them will be one of the top "ATS" teams so far this season in college football, the Houston Cougars, as they host the South Florida Bulls in a primetime matchup. Houston enters the game after a huge win against Rutgers last weekend, while South Florida looks to bounce back after a loss to Louisville. The latest game will be presented Thursday via ESPN's sports networks.
According to PreGame.com on Oct. 31, tonight’s favorite will be the Houston Cougars who are 17.5 point favorites. The game total for points scored in the entire game is set at 53.5 currently. South Florida is currently sitting at a mark of 2-5 overall, but has a winning record of 2-1 in this year’s new AAC conference. Among their victories were wins over Cincinnati and Connecticut. Last week saw them fall to Louisville 34-3, though, and they rank only in the top 100 in terms of defense, allowing 30.7 points per game which is good for 89th in the NCAA. Otherwise, their offense has struggled mightily as they are 117th in passing and 111th in rushing.
On the other side, Houston is 17th in passing yards and 10th in points per game with 42 a contest. Their defense also ranks 32nd, giving up just 22.3 points a game. Quarterback John O’Korn has been racking up the stats for this high-scoring team, as he has compiled 1,858 yards and 19 touchdowns on 139-of-220 completed passes. Deontay Greenberry has been the Cougars’ top receiver with 842 yards on 58 receptions, as well as eight touchdowns. Among Houston’s wins have been blowouts against Rutgers (49-14), UTSA (59-28) and Southern (62-13). Their only loss was by a point to BYU back on Oct. 29. The Cougars will have a few big tests on the way as they’ll face No.23 UCF and No.19 Louisville in the next several weeks.
All that said, they’re favored to win in tonight’s matchup by about 18 points at many sports books. The money line bet is priced high at about -1200, while the underdog Bulls are +760. Weather forecasts show temperatures by kickoff in the mid 70’s under mostly cloudy skies with a 60% chance of rain showers or storms early.
Thursday night's NCAA football game has a start time of 7 p.m. EST, with ESPN providing the cable and satellite television coverage.
