Week 2 of the NCAA college football live stream and TV coverage schedule will once again be full of must see games, including a huge one with serious BCS title hopes on the line when the South Carolina Gamecocks take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
It may be the beginning of September, but if the Bulldogs lose today and start the season 0-2 they can kiss their National Championship dreams good-bye – and recent history hasn’t been on Georgia’s side when they have faced the “Ole ball coach” and South Carolina.
According to an ESPN report on Sept 6, the Gamecocks, who are No. 6 in the AP poll, have won three straight vs. Georgia and four of the past six overall. Right about now would be a good time for Senior quarterback Aaron Murray to put together a great game and keep his ‘Dawgs in contention.
Currently sitting at No. 11 in the AP poll, Georgia desperately needs to win their home opener, but are they stuck in a rut when it comes to beating a Steve Spurrier coached team?
Before he took over at South Carolina, Spurrier’s Florida Gators won 11 of 12 meetings vs. the Bulldogs in the game known as the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party," rivalry. The magic has seemingly followed Spurrier to SC. If South Carolina can pull off another win over Georgia today, it may solidify them a top 5 spot in the next poll ranking.
Winning on the road in the SEC is not an easy thing to do.
