The NCAA football 2013 live stream and TV schedule brings many of the top ranked teams onto the field for Saturday's slate of games. Among them will be the No.2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes as they open their season at home against Buffalo. This matchup featured one of the top-ranked teams in all of the nation will be among the NCAA football live streaming and televised games starting off the day's action.
An Aug. 29 report via Wall Street Journal notes that this will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams, and the Buffalo Bulls will arrive to the game as underdogs by five touchdowns. Entering this game, Ohio State is ranked No. 2 overall and looking for a big season. A lot of that will come from their star quarterback Braxton Miller, who comes into the season as one of the favorites to win the Heisman trophy. Saturday's game will be one in which Ohio State will be without three suspended starts in running backs Carlos Hyde and Rod Smith as well as cornerback Bradley Roby. Hyde was the team's leading scorer for the 2012 season.
Buffalo comes into this game merely looking to avoid being humiliated by a superior squad on the road. The Bulls had a 3-5 record in the Mid-American Conference and a 4-8 record overall, hardly making much noise when it came to any AP or Coaches poll discussions. However, there's promising quarterback Joe Licata who helped guide the team to three of the four wins to close out the season. If he can sustain that pace, the Bulls could have a much better looking season in 2013. Their running back Branden Oliver is another to watch, as he missed five games last year, but still went on to register 821 yards rushing.
Ohio State finished out last season with an impressive undefeated record of 8-0 in the Big Ten conference and 12-0 overall, good enough for a No. 3 ranking in the final polls. The team was ineligible for the Coaches Poll or BCS National Championship last season, but eligible for the AP poll championship, but ended up falling behind Oregon and the eventual champions, Alabama. They'll now look to repeat last year's success en route to another superb season. Can they match last season's incredible record, with Miller leading the way and taking the Heisman?
