NCAA basketball schedule 2013: Michigan vs. Michigan St. live stream and TV game (Video)

With the NCAA March Madness 2013 schedule right around the corner, big time college basketball games are on the horizon. Two Big Ten foes face off today as Michigan visits Michigan State, with the game showing live streaming online and on national television.

According to CBS Sports on March 3, the Wolverines are looking to recover after losing a 15-point lead to their conference's last place team: Penn State. The team was able to get its first win in conference play for the season. That particular loss has coach John Belein saying they aren't ready to panic just yet.

Of his team's focus, Beilein said:

"What they need right now is positive reinforcement. We're going to watch very little of Penn State film, and move on."

Meanwhile, Michigan State is also slumping at the wrong time of the season. With a record of 22-6 overall and 11-4 in conference play, they may look like a solid contender for a national championship. However, the Spartans have lost two straight games now, something they hadn't done all season.

Despite the losses, Michigan State still can come away with the Big Ten regular season title. Currently, they trail Indiana and Wisconsin by just one game for the conference lead.

Coach Tom Izzo said of his team's chances of winning the conference outright:

"There's a crack in the door. It's not wide open, but we are going into the last week of the season still playing for something."

Once again, the burden could fall on the shoulders of junior guard Keith Appling to carry the Spartans. He currently leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points a game. Michigan will look for contributions from Tim Hardaway Jr. and their leading scorer, Trey Burke to pull off the victory on the road. Current odds favor the Spartans by 4 points.

Today's Michigan vs. Michigan State basketball game will be live streaming on the CBS Sports website, and also will be televised starting at 4 p.m. EST. Roanoke viewers can watch this Big Ten matchup on local CBS affiliate station WDBJ 7 on Cox Cable, DISH Network and other local providers.
