NCAA Basketball: Michigan wins Big Ten crown, latest Bracketology projections

The Michigan Wolverines clinched their first outright Big Ten Championship since 1986 last night with a blowout win over 84-53 win over the host Illinois Fighting Illini last night. Michigan (who is 22-7 and 14-3 in conference play) has one game left before the Big Ten Tournament as they host the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday in Ann Arbor.

With the 2013-14 NCAA Men’s Basketball season winding down, the projects for the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament are beginning to heat up. ESPN.com’s latest Bracketology has Arizona, Florida, Kansas and Wichita State as the No. 1 seeds. As for the local ties and/or Big Ten teams, the latest projections have Wisconsin has a two seed, Michigan as a three, Michigan State as a four seed and Ohio State as a six.
