With a chance to win the Big Ten title for the first time in almost three decades, Michigan visit Illinois in tonight’s featured NCAA basketball 2014 live streaming/TV schedule game on ESPN3 and ESPN.
According to a March 4, 2014 B/R report, Assembly Hall in Champagne, Ill., will be the site for this Big Ten showdown between the 12th ranked (21-7, Conf: 13-3) Michigan Wolverines and the resurging (17-12, Conf: 6-10) Illinois Fighting Illini.
Opening tipoff is scheduled for tonight at 7:10 p.m. EST (6:10 p.m. CST/5:10 p.m. MST/4:10 p.m. PST), and as stated above, will be broadcast nationally on big ESPN (DirecTV channel 206).
This NCAA basketball 2014 clash will also be available for viewing on a desktop and multiple mobile (Internet) devices. Please visit Watch-ESPN for more information, or simply click here to watch the Michigan vs. Illinois free live stream online.
The Wolverines come in winners of three straight and with two chances to win the Big Ten (outright) for the first time since the 1986 campaign. Michigan could either clinch tonight against the Fighting Illini, or Saturday when it hosts the Indiana Hoosiers.
“I love the way that we cherish regular-season titles at Michigan,” said Wolverine head coach John Beilein this week. “I’ve never been anywhere else where it is so important. But when it happens, I never really know how to react. Maybe I’ll be able to relax more if we get the outright title, because we want that.”
According to NCAA basketball 2014 oddsmakers, Michigan [-3] is projected to win what should be a highly contested battle with Illinois [+3], while the OVER/UNDER is set at a combined total of 125 points. Straight-up betting lines have the Wolverines valued at -160 and the home team Illini as +140 dogs this evening.
