The NCAA announced today that tickets for each of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey regional tournaments will go on sale starting Friday, November 1st, at 10am. The West and Northeast Regionals at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN and DCU Center in Worcester, MA will hold their regionals March 29-30.
The East Regional tournament takes place at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT while the Midwest Regional is at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. The East and Midwest Regionals are scheduled for March 28-29.
Here’s a breakdown of the game times for each regional:
West (St. Paul): March 29th 4:30pm and 8pm CT (semifinals), March 30th 6:30pm CT (final)
Northeast (Worcester): March 29th 4pm and 7:30pm ET (semifinals), March 30th 5pm ET (final)
Midwest (Cincinnati): March 28th 4:30pm and 8pm ET (semifinals), March 29th 6:30pm ET (final)
East (Bridgeport): March 28th 2pm and 5:30pm ET (semifinals), March 29th 6:30pm ET (final)
The West Regional is hosted by Minnesota, while the Northeast is hosted by Holy Cross. The Midwest Regional is hosted by Miami-Ohio, while the East is hosted by Fairfield and Yale. If any of the host institutions make the national playoffs, they’ll automatically be seeded in their home regional.
Tickets for all four sites of the 2014 Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Regionals will be sold as three-game packages and may be purchased online at www.NCAA.com/frozenfour, and via phone at 800-745-3000.
