NBC shows its true colors

An open letter to NBC (National Broadcasting Company):

As an American citizen, and over 70 years of age, I take umbrage at your company's trying to be politically correct with our Nation's Pledge of Allegiance during the programming of the United States Open golf tournament.  This is just one more black mark against a network that used to be the leader in broadcasting excellence but has caved in to those in our country who prefer to be neutral when asked to stand up for our country's Christian heritage and traditions.  Removing 'Under God,' from our Pledge of Allegiance shows just how much you really care about the 80%+ Christian citizenry who still believe that God was the motivating force behind this country's beginning and unbelievable blessings.

And you wonder why your network continues to drop in the ratings?  Take a careful look at yourself in every area of policy and politically correct reporting and programming.  What you did was, seemingly, an intentional affront to the Christian population of this country.  Until your company begins to show a true repentance of your insulting, politically correct broadcasting I, for one, refuse to accept the half-hearted on-air apology given by your sports announcer during the United States Open.  I have a feeling a great many others feel as I do.
