NBC's "Taxi Brooklyn is an action-packed crime drama with a spin! The new police series has Chyler Leigh starring as Det. Caitlyn "Cat" Sullivan, a witty and tough-as-nails detective on a serious quest to find her father's killer. This quest takes an unexpected turn and partner when Cat is demoted to foot patrol for reckless driving and disobeying orders. Her suspension leads her to be thrown off a bank robbery case that led to the arrest of a French African, street-smart taxi driver named Leo (Jacky Ido), who is thought to be an accessory to the crime. In an unlikely turn of events, Leo becomes Cat's partner when she agrees to help him with his immigration problems and keep him out of prison in exchange for driving her around. Realizing they can both help each other out, the two embark on a fun-to-watch journey as they race through the streets of New York trying to solve cases and get Cat one step closer to uncovering the mystery behind her father's death, a former NYPD detective.
And as we see in this first look clip from Wednesday's episode, things start to get more complicated for the duo as they tackle crime scenes together. In this clip titled, "Scene of the Crime", Cat is questioned on her unusual "partner".
Taxi Brooklyn airs Wednesday's at 10/9c on NBC.
