NBC's 'Revolution' casts '24' alum Annie Wersching

Former "24" star Annie Wersching has landed a recurring role on NBC's new hit drama "Revolution," which returns from hiatus on March 25.

According to TV Line, who first broke the news Monday (Jan. 28), the actress will play Emma, a former love of both Miles Matheson (Billy Burke) and Sebastian Monroe (David Lyons). Her return in the present day causes a major confrontation between the two rivals.

Wersching played Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) colleague and love interest Renee Walker in two seasons of "24."

She'll be the third "24 alum to appear on "Revolution." Kim Raver plays Captain Neville’s (Giancarlo Esposito) wife, while Leslie Hope recently booked a multi-episode arc as the president of the Georgia Federation for the second half of the first season.

Wersching has been keeping busy with a recurring role on TNT's "Dallas," an arc on the upcoming third season of ABC's "Body of Proof" and a guest-starring role opposite Sutherland in the sophomore season of FOX's "Touch."

"Revolution" returns with episode 11 on Monday, March 25 at 10/9 p.m. CT on NBC. Wersching's first appearance will be in episode 15 on April 22.
